The four town houses will be sold on the open market. If you are interested in purchasing one of these properties, or other residential properties within the regeneration schemes,  please email and we will pass on your details to the relevant agent once they have been appointed.  


Main Works and appointment of Build Contractor

In April 2016 the Council started the process of tendering for the build contract and worked closely with the tendering companies on their approach to delivering the project on the town centre site. These discussions covered a wide range of things such as site constraints, control of noise and working practices, management of construction traffic, continued servicing of businesses remaining on site, and how to manage and minimise the length of the demolition phase which requires a temporary single lane closure of Peach Street due to the close proximity of the buildings to the highways.     

In January 2017 main work started to deliver the Peach Place proposals.

This work includes the closure of the Rose Street car park, demolition of existing buildings on site, and development of new shops, homes and a public square.  

Dawnus Construction Ltd has been appointed as main build contractor. Details of their ongoing programme are shown above, and will be updated with detail over the coming months as the project moves forward to keep people updated with what is happening.
